RNC Make Arrest Following Downtown Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), September 29, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male following a disturbance in a residential area in downtown St. John’s.

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at approximately 9:00 pm, officers with the RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the Lemarchant Road area of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located the male believed to be responsible for the event.

As a result of an investigation, a 37-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with uttering threats and multiple breaches of court orders. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
