RNC Make Arrest After Reports of Suspicious Activity

(St. John’s, NL), October 5, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male after reports of suspicious activity in Mount Pearl.

Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, the RNC OPS and responded to a report of suspicious activity in the area of Wyatt Boulevard in Mount Pearl. A report was received that a male was accessing vehicles in the residential area. Responding officers located the male in the area upon arrival.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 31-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with mischief and failure to comply with a court order. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
