RNC Investigating Robbery at Mount Pearl Business

(St. John’s, NL), October 13, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are investigating a robbery which occurred in Mount Pearl.

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, at approximately 10:25 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS) responded to a convenience store on Dunn’s Road in Mount Pearl after a report that a robbery had just occurred. A male suspect had entered the store and approached the cashier demanding money. The suspect obtained some cash, then exited the store and left the area in a vehicle.

The suspect was a white male, and he wore a mask while inside the store. He was wearing a baseball hat, a blue hoodie and shorts. Please view the attached photographs of the suspect and suspect vehicle.
