(St. John’s, NL), October 13, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) General Investigation Unit (GIU) are investigating a robbery which occurred in Mount Pearl.

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, at approximately 10:25 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) and Forensic Identification Services (FIS) responded to a convenience store on Dunn’s Road in Mount Pearl after a report that a robbery had just occurred. A male suspect had entered the store and approached the cashier demanding money. The suspect obtained some cash, then exited the store and left the area in a vehicle.

The suspect was a white male, and he wore a mask while inside the store. He was wearing a baseball hat, a blue hoodie and shorts. Please view the attached photographs of the suspect and suspect vehicle.

The RNC GIU ask that anyone who may have information to assist the investigation, or with video footage in that area around the time of the incident, contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
