(Churchill Falls, NL), June 2, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) make arrest for impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.

On Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, at 1:26 a.m. RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) conducted a traffic safety stop on a vehicle in the area of Ossokmanuan Street in Churchill Falls. As a result of the stop and the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old male, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving over the legal blood-alcohol limit. The male was released for court at a later date and his vehicle was impounded.
