RNC Make Arrest Following Assault in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), November 25, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services arrested a male in connection with intimate partner violence following response to a disturbance in the center city area of the capital.

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at approximately 8:48 pm, officers with the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence in the area of Buckmaster Circle in St. John’s. Responding officers located the individuals involved outside a residence in the area.

As a result of the investigation in to the event, 29-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with assault, choking, uttering threats, and property damage. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
