RNC Make Arrest Following Metro Area Disturbance

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), December 10, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services arrested a male following a disturbance in the west end of the capital city.

On Friday, December 10, 2021, at approximately 12:15 am, members of the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence in the west end of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a male and female believed to be involved in the disturbance. The female had visible injuries observed by the officers on scene.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 41-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with assault, uttering threats and resisting arrest. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court on the matter.
