RNC Continue to Investigate Death of Two People in CBS

(ST. JOHN’S, NL), December 14, 2021 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) are continuing to investigate the death of a male and female at a residence in Conception Bay South (CBS).

On Friday evening, December 10, 2021, the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a request for assistance at a residence on Windycove Lane in CBS. On arrival, officers located a male and a female deceased on the property. The RNC Criminal Investigation Division (CID) were engaged to investigate the event.

Investigators referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death for the deceased individuals. At this stage in the investigation, investigators can confirm the cause of death for a 46-year-old female located on the property to be homicide. Furthermore, a 46-year-old male on the property died as a result of suicide. There are no further public safety concerns in connection with the event.
