RNC Investigating Mount Pearl Robbery

(St. John’s, NL) May 25, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is seeking assistance with the investigation of a robbery in Mount Pearl.

Shortly after midnight into Friday (May 24), RNC patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery at a bank on Commonwealth Avenue. A man approached a woman using the ATM, assaulting the woman and obtaining cash. The man had fled the area prior to police arrival.

The man is described to be about 5’8” tall with a slender build and light brown hair. He was wearing light coloured pants.

The RNC are seeking any video in the area, or anyone who may have information to assist the investigation.
