RNC Make Arrest Following Corner Brook Disturbance

(St. John’s, NL), January 17, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) have made an arrest in connection with a disturbance at a Corner Brook residence.

On Monday, January 17, 2022, at approximately 1:20 am, the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence in Corner Brook. Responding officers located a male with non-life threatening injuries on the property. Another male was taken in to custody inside the home by the officers.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, a 31-year-old male from Corner Brook was arrested and charged with assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
