RNC Make Arrest Following Disturbance in Metro

(St. John’s, NL), February 15, 2022– The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) made an arrest following a disturbance in St. John’s yesterday evening.

On Monday, February 14, 2022, at approximately 9:55 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. Responding officers determined a female believed to be involved had left the area prior to police arrival. There were no injuries reported at the scene.

As a result of an investigation in to the event, an 18-year-old female from St. John’s was arrested and charged with uttering threats. The accused was released on conditions to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
