RNC Investigating Shooting in St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), February 25, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Major Crime Unit are investigating a shooting incident in St. John’s.

On Friday, February 25, 2022, at approximately 6:50 am, RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to a hospital in St. John’s after a female arrived at the location with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound. The female remains at the hospital receiving medical assistance. The RNC Major Crime Unit (MCU) launched an investigation in to the event.

This investigation is active, and the RNC MCU are seeking any information related to suspicious activity and any video footage in the Bay Bulls Road area of St. John’s, between Valleyview Road and the Pitts Memorial Drive on-ramp, prior to 6:50 am on Friday morning.
