RNC Make Arrest After Court Order Breach

(St. John’s, NL), April 22, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) made an arrest in connection with a court order breach last night.

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, just before 9:00 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of non-compliance with a court release order. A male on a court order not to contact or communicate with another individual was believed to have failed to comply with this condition.

As a result of an investigation in to this event, a 29-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with failure to comply with court order. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
