Response to Suspicious Activity Results in Arrest

(St. John’s, NL), August 31, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services (OPS) arrested a male in connection with a court order breach following response to a report of suspicious activity overnight.

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at approximately 11:20 pm, RNC OPS responded to a report of a suspicious persons accessing private property in the center city area of St. John’s. On arrival, officers located a male and female in the area.

As a result of an investigation, a 44-year-old male from St. John’s was arrested and charged with breaching court orders. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
