RNC Investigating Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Pedestrian

(St. John’s, NL), October 17, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Accident Investigation Division are investigating a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in St. John’s.

On October 14, 2022, at approximately 7:25 pm, the RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of McDonald’s Restaurant on Stavanger Drive in St. John’s. On arrival, officers confirmed the collision involved a white Toyota Camry and a pedestrian. The 66-year-old female pedestrian was taken to the Health Sciences Centre to be treated for serious injuries.

Investigators are seeking any witnesses or video footage in the area of Stavanger Drive, just East of Torbay Road, in the time leading up to the collision. Please contact the RNC with any information to assist the investigation.
