RNC Make Arrest Following String of Robberies in Metro

(St. John’s, NL), November 25, 2022 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) have made an arrest in connection with a string of robberies, which occurred in the metro region.

Within the past month, the RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) have responded to several armed robberies in St. John’s. In each case, a suspect presented a weapon while demanding cash and property. The RNC Criminal Investigation Division (CID) were engaged to investigate the events.

As a result of the investigation, on November 23, 2022, the RNC CID arrested 34-year-old Kieran PARDY of St. John’s. He has been charged with six counts of robbery, as well as theft, fraud, possession of stolen property, and breach of court orders. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
