RNC Response to Disturbance Results in Arrest

(St. John’s, NL), August 4, 2023 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) made an arrest last night after responding to a disturbance at a St. John’s residence.

RNC Operational Patrol Services (OPS) responded to the area of Empire Avenue in St. John’s around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, following a report of a disturbance at a residence. On arrival, officers located two females who were believed to be involved in the event.

As a result of an investigation of the event, a 24-year-old female from St. John’s was arrested and charged with uttering threats to cause harm. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court today.
