RNC Investigating After Vehicle Strikes House in Downtown St. John’s

(St. John’s, NL), April 12, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) is investigating after a vehicle collided into a home in St. John’s.

Just before 7:20 a.m. today (April 12), patrol officers responded to a report that a vehicle had struck a home on Casey Street. Responding officers observed a black Ford pickup truck at rest at the front of a home with significant damage to the residence. One occupant of the residence sustained minor injuries.

It was determined that two occupants of the vehicle, a man and woman, had fled on foot prior to police arrival. Police Dog Services assisted patrol officers with searching for the man and woman, while collision analysts supported the investigation of the scene on Casey Street.

The RNC is requesting the assistance of the community in identifying the male and female that left the scene of the collision. The male is described to be tall and slender, wearing a pink button-up shirt, a light brown suit, and a dark jacket. The female is described to be about 5’4” tall, was wearing a bucket hat, and all black clothing. Please see the attached photograph.
