RNC Hosting Public Pill Drop

(St. John’s, NL), March 21, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has partnered with Memorial University’s School of Pharmacy and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to host a community pill drop.

Members of the public are invited to bring unused or expired medications to RNC Headquarters, 1 Fort Townshend, St. John’s, NL, on Friday, March 22, between 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. for proper disposal.

Accepted medications include; all types of prescriptions, vitamins, antibiotics, EpiPens and narcotics. They could be in the form of capsules and tablets, vials, creams and ointments, sachets, or bottles.
