(Corner Brook, NL), February 29, 2024 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) have arrested a woman connected to an assault in Massey Drive.

On Wednesday (Feb 28), just before 3:00 p.m., RNC patrol officers received a report of an assault, which is believed to have occurred at a residence in Massey Drive. Patrol officers determined that a 28-year-old woman had sustained injuries consistent with an assault.

As a result of an investigation into the event, patrol officers arrested a 23-year-old woman at a home in Massey Drive, and she was charged with assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm. The accused was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court in relation to the offences.
